Roundtable/Roundrobin (Kagan, Cooperative learning resources for teachers) is a cooperative structure in which one paper and pencil are systematically passed around the group. For example, one partner writes an idea, then passes the paper and pencil to the partner on the left.
A variation of the procedure is to have each partner hold and use different colored writing tool while the paper gets passed around. This visual distinction allows members to view their contribution while keeping the entry personalized.
During a roundrobin, members of the cooperative group get the opportunity to verbally contribute their ideas to the members of their team.
